Abstrakt:	The article discusses the legal aspects of intersexuality and self-determination as of April 2014, focusing on the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina's ruling in the case M.C. v. Aaronson which deals with various legal, medical, and ethical issues in association with genital-normalizing surgery. Several judgments by the Constitutional Court of Colombia are mentioned, along with the Cologne Regional Court of Germany and efforts to promote intersex autonomy.
