| Abstrakt: |
The article reports the predation of Mississippi Kite predation on Western Kingbird observed in July 2013 at Elmer Thomas Park in Comanche County, Oklahoma. It recounts the monitoring of the Western Kingbird nests until fledging of the young, the capture of the fledging by the Mississippi Kite mid-flight, and the reaction of the kingbird parents. Also included is a proposition on the possible co-occurrence of both bird species in Oklahoma urban habitats and their interactions. |
