Abstrakt: The article focuses on the first trademark case Singleton v. Bolton related to the common law. Topics discussed include importance of the trademark law, recipe of the yellow ointment of physician doctor Christopher Johnson and the claims for appearance of the yellow ointment for the first time in the history. It also discusses various medicinal properties of the yellow ointment which include prevention of pimples, scar marks and all type of skin problems.
