Abstrakt: The article discusses the political involvement of Catholic Action leader Tommasa Alfieri in the first half of the 20th century. Topics discussed include background information on the training of Alfieri under the leadership of Italian Catholic friar and educator Agostino Gemelli and under Catholic women's movement leaders such as Armida Barelli, the establishment of Alfieri's Regina Crucis Society for women's Catholic life and political action, and Alfieri's views on the relationship between Catholicism and politics.
