Abstrakt:	The article presents information on the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+). It is noted that REDD+ requires institutional support with public, private and civic participation like any other global mechanism. It is mentioned that 14 million hectares of threatened tropical forest are already being protected by REDD+ project.
