| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case of surgical wound healing in an Iguana iguana. The reptile had a normal body condition but a firm mass was detected at the submandibular region, which was surgically removed. It was prescribed systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs after the surgery. Also mentioned are the use of an occlusive bandage to stabilise the inflammation, factors affecting the healing process in reptiles, and the improvement in the health status of the subject. |
