| Abstrakt: |
The article deals with a study which investigated whether or not the daily oral administration of clothianidin (CTD) has any deleterious effects on the reproductive functions of mature male quails. Topics discusses include information on neonicotinoids, a class of neuroactive insecticides developed in the 1990s, and findings which show that the reproduction of the male quail was affected by CTD through the fragmentation of germ cells and the inhibition or delay of embryonic development. |
