| Abstrakt: |
The article provides evidence confirming the northward extension of the winter range of Magellanic penguin Spheniscus magellanicus along the Brazilian coast from 2000 to 2010. Data were based on the number of Magellanic penguins logged at animal and wildlife rehabilitation centers in Brazil. Theories on why birds that are adapted to cold water migrate north are provided. |
