The article discusses the plan to draw a draft memorandum of agreement in 2014 to develop a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) standard allowing aircraft from different countries to use precision-guided munitions (PGMs) from various sources and nations. The weapons standardization effort is aimed at avoiding the problems in the 2011 mission against the regime of Muammar Gadhafi in Libya, where some coalition air forces ran low on precision weapon stocks during the campaign. |
