Abstrakt: The article provides information on the challenges faced when diagnosing sulcus vocalis and its treatment. It mentions that sulcus vocalis is diagnosed through visualizing a groove running along the vocal fold's free edge while the patient is phonating or breathing. Medical therapy of sulcus vocalis includes treating coincident vocal pathology such as muscle tension dysphonia, allergic laryngitis and laryngopharyngeal reflux disease.
