The article focuses on the establishment of the Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) Examination during the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Jimmy A. Young Memorial Lecture at the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Summer Forum in 2013. The results of the Job Analysis Survey conducted by the NBRC are highlighted. The changes in the content and complexity of the TMC Examination are outlined. |
