In this article, the author presents his views on the maintenance of classicism as an ideal in ballet including choreography and performance. He presents a list of quotations for the classic manner involving many of ballet artistic forms. He also pays regard to the previous ballet dance troops and makes a comparison between ballets which were performed in earlier ages, which were used to educate and inspire people, to that of today's era, for which the educational content is found missing. |
