Abstrakt: The article discusses rights and liabilities of the company towards its shareholders in reference to the case Salomon v. A Salomon & Co. Ltd. It focuses on the judgment of the House of Lords in the case showing considering the organization a separate legal entity from the corporate even on sharing a single shareholder along with corporate shareholders. It further presents the identity of person with the company by virtue of their ownership.
