The article discusses research that developed a network gird based on the subnet's mathematical view of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. The invention aims to help data center administrators to monitor or administer resources with ease. The mechanism consists of grid cells that represent a network resource, ordered in an incremental order of IP values, and grid cells that represent different node types. |
