Abstrakt:	The article presents a report summary of U.S. fires with the highest loss in 2012. A list of the costliest fires is provided classified by property type, including manufacturing, wildland, and residential properties. Also included is an analysis of fire locations, cause of ignition, and automatic fire detection equipment.
