Concurrent Infection of Newcastle Disease Virus with Pasteurella Multocida in Budgerigars (Melopsittacus undulatus).

Abstrakt: This article presents a study which investigated a concurrent infection of Newcastle disease virus with Pasteurella multocida in budgerigars. Veterinarians examined budgerigars that were brought to a pathology department for postmortem examination. Gross examination revealed petechial haemorrhages in the preventriculus papilla, abdominal fat and lungs. Pasteurella multocida isolates obtained showed typical morphological and cultural properties.
