This article discusses a study which investigated the ameliorative effect of alpha-tocopherol on the clinical and histopathological alterations induced by chlorpyrifos (CPF) in albino rats. CPF is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus agricultural insecticide. The study findings revealed that acute CPF-induced adversity on clinical and histopathological parameters was mitigated by pretreatment with alpha-tocopherol. |
