| Abstrakt: | The article reports about the 1945 aerial operations of the U.S. Army Air Force 35th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force, against German Luftwaffe air forces during World War II. It pays particular attention to hindrances in navigation faced by the Group, adjustments made to the Mustang fighter planes used, and casualties statistics of German, American, and British air force personnel. A narrative of the events by commander of the 364th Squadron, Tommy Hayes, is also included. |
