The article offers the author's insights on the role and duty of the South African parliament members. She says that their role is to demonstrate their intent to be a conduit of information from nine provincial Legislature to the people. She mentions the creation of the South African Legislative Sectors (SALS) through a Memorandum of Understanding, which has been signed by all the Legislatures and Speakers of Parliament in March 2010. |
