Abstrakt: The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case Petrella v. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. It informs that Paula Petrella, daughter of Frank Petrella who helped boxer Jake LaMotta, to teach actor Robert De Niro boxing for the movie Raging Bull had claimed that the film company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) had infringed on her fathers copyright. It further reports that the court had asked to consider whether copyright violations can be defended on the basis of laches.
