| Abstrakt: | The article presents the 55th annual report of the British Birds Rarities Committee (BBRC) which reflected a decline in the number of rarities observed in 2012 compared to the crop in 2011. It highlights the poor showing of Pallid Harriers and Red-flanked Bluetails, low level appearance of Hume's Warblers, and rare sighting of Olive-backed Pipits. Discussed are accepted records of rare birds, processing of data, features of the various species, and other pertinent information. |
