A literary criticism of the book "O ministro" by Angolan author Uanhenga Xitu is presented. Particular focus is given to the relation between history and literature, based on the work of Burkinabe historian and author Joseph Ki-Zerbo. Subjects include historical memory of Africa, the concept of African history promoted by Ki-Zerbo, and Pan-africanism. |
