The article discusses five health information exchange (HIE) practices that threaten data integrity. It states that five risky HIE practices include the organization's reliance on weak computer algorithms, failed implementation of record-matching algorithms, and insufficiency of standard interfaces and automated processes. Moreover, it suggests the significance of implementing data integrity best practices to eliminate dangers and problems induced by duplicate or dirty data. |
