Abstrakt: The chapter examines the power of a volcanic eruption. Volcanic eruptions are one of the most powerful natural disasters. The deadliest part of a volcano is the pyroclastic flow, or volcanic hurricane. A volcano's ash can be almost as deadly as the pyroclastic flow. Volcanoes can cause deadly floods. Lava flows can also be destructive.
