| Abstrakt: |
The article responds to the paper "Outside the U.S. Frame: Asian Canadian Perspectives" by Donald Goellnicht. The paper is recognized for delineating the formation of Asian Canadian studies and for comparing it to Asian American studies. The works of South Asian Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta and South Asian American filmmaker Mira Nair are compared. Also discussed is the association between the fear of incorporation and the institutional identity of Asian Canadian studies. |
