The article offers tips for mulberry plantation operators in India on how to prepare for possible infestation by pests and insects in the coming monsoon season as of April 2013. It highlights reports of May-June beetle infestations in mulberry gardens in villages in Melukote Hobli of Pandavapura Taluk of Mandya district after pre-monsoon showers. Details about the beetle's life cycle including its egg, grub and pupa stages and control measures are also discussed. |
