The article discusses the religious work and deaths of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) Middle East missionaries Emil Julius Huber and Joseph Wilford Booth in Aleppo, Syria. It also discusses efforts to restore the Aleppo gravesites and the significance of that effort to the broader effort of the LDS Church in the Middle East in the early 21st century. The article examines the history of LDS missionary work in the Middle East during the late 19th century and early 20th century. |
