The article presents the 2nd Edition of the "Seismic Design Manual" released by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). It is said that the manual is based on the 2010 AISC "Seismic Provisions for Structureal Steel Buildings." However, there are additional discussion, design examples and application in the new manual. It consists of 10 parts with topics ranging from General Considerations to Composite Moment Frames and Engineered Damping Systems. |
