Abstrakt: | The article focuses on prospects for improving young Chinook salmon population in Hood River, Oregon as of August 2013. It explores efforts being made by biologists from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Oregon officials to restore the salmon population through a self-sustaining program for salmons which have migrated downstream. It further talks about a 10-year deal that has granted 900 million U.S. dollars for tribal hatchery and habitat improvements. |
