The article focuses on the signature of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and discusses its destiny and importance as a brand. The author talks about Picasso's signature as a young boy, how it evolved during his art career, and his signature as its own entity after his death. Focus is given to the contract signed between the French car manufacturer Citroën and Picasso Administration, a society founded by the artist's son Claude to manage his artist's rights, in 1998 in order to use the artist's name, image, and works to promote its car Citroën Xsara Picasso and reasons why it chose Picasso. |
