The article features Else Marie Pade, a pioneer of electronic music in Denmark. She is reportedly known for using sound in recreating the solitude of her childhood and her time as a member of the Danish wartime resistance. It states that she felt belittled and ridiculed for her efforts and spent more time in the technical department. She relates her search for sounds all her life. Her strangely metallic voice is said to be frailer than what is expected from her appearance. |
