Abstrakt:	An interview with Aaron Goldman, principal flute of the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), is presented. When asked about his audition with NSO, he says it was harder auditioning for one's own orchestra because whether he passes or fails the audition he will still be in close proximity to his evaluators. He also describes his preparation for the final round of audition.
