The authors discuss the implications of the Public Safety Realignment Act, a correctional policy which was implemented in California. They state that the prison reform will let the property and low-level drug offenders be condemned to county programs and facilities. They outline the history of the said legislation its complications for the operations of criminal justice which covers the issues on recidivism rates and reduction of prison crowding. |
