The article investigates the plasma pharmacokinetics of long acting moxifloxacin in six adult male sheep in Sardarkrushinagar, India after single intramuscular (i/m) administration. The values for absorption half life, elimination half life, volume of distribution at steady state, total body clearance, area under curve (AUC), and mean resident time (MRT) are presented. It also indicates that moxifloxacin remained for longer time in the body of sheep compared to other animal species. |
