The article discusses an Indian study which evaluated the effect of combination of xylazine and propofol in 30 kids or baby goats aged 3 months of either sex for the purpose of densitometry. The researchers induced sedation with xylazine and anesthesized with propofol and scored the absence of adverse events.They also observed that no single drugs was satisfactory to produce brief immobilization for densitometry and noted prolonged and event-free recovery time. |
