The article focuses on a study on the polymorphism in transforming growth factor (TGF) β1 gene and its relationship with litter size in Boer and Shaannan goat breeds. It states that in the study, primers were designed to detect single nucleotide polymorphism of the exon 1 and intron 2 of TGF gene by PCR-SSCP (single-strand conformation polymorphisms) and DNA sequencing. It mentions that genotypes were analyzed by the least square mean and genetic variance methods. |
