The article focuses on the story of artist Edward Clark and his works. It says that at the Roman Catholic parochial schools in New Orleans, Louisiana and Chicago, Illinois, he recognized that he had a talent in drawing. It states that the vision of Clark was one of painting as a form of intelligence. It adds that models of Clark are no longer nature and the materiality of his painting is not the physical paint, the stroke or the movement upon the canvas. |
