Abstrakt: | The article looks at factors that can assist teacher leaders in transitioning into effective principals. It says new principals must be confident that they can positively influence high levels of learning for every student. It notes that collective efficacy is being established by principals by forming high functioning collaborative teams through the professional learning community (PLC) of their schools. It cites strategies that should be considered by principals to ease feelings of isolation. |
