The article discusses the Court case R. v. Clift (Leigh George) and R. v. Harrison (Brian Leslie) of the England and Wales Courts of Appeal regarding admissibility of accused evidences. The Court decided that if a victim died as a result of defendant's grievous bodily harm then the defendant could not automatically be convicted of the victim's murder. In such case, the Court ruled that earlier conviction would be admissible of the fact under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. |
