An interview with Michael Pemberton and Janice Walker, members of the faculty of the Department of Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University, is presented. The interview begins with the benefits of being a free-standing department at the university, including a strong background in linguistics. Pemberton and Walker then discuss the popularity of creative writing in the department's courses. They also talk about the Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy. |
