The article focuses on the arguments on the lack of rights of conscientious objection in the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act's (ACA) mandate to fund contraceptive and alleged abortive services. It discusses the level of proximity existing on the mandate's force to an individual to act or pay taxes against their fundamental moral principles. It also explores the legitimacy of demands for religious conscientious objection and grounds for ordinary taxpayers to claim such objection. |
