Abstrakt: | An interview with artist Robert Warner is presented. He states that he started making mail arts when he asked the address of Joseph Lembo in Manhattan, New York in order for him to send Lembo a mail and get in touch with his co-artist. He says that his first correspondence to mail artist Ray Johnson is a paper painter's palette. He adds that the 13 boxes that Johnson gave to him were filled with some of the objects given to Johnson by the members of New York Correspondence School (NYCS). |
