The article offers perspectives from several health care professionals regarding the working relationships of operating room (OR) and sterile processing department (SPD) personnel. Jason Ellis, a sterile processing manager, emphasizes the importance of accomplishments, concerns and strategic plans to enhance facility's practices. Martha Stratton, a perioperative nursing administrator, examines the factors on building collegial relationships such as mutual respect, communication and trust. |
