| Abstrakt: |
The author reflects on the creation of high reliability approach in health care services for patient safety in the U.S. He states that a comprehensive approach is the only solution in making an industry attained levels of safety and quality seen in air transport and nuclear power. He discusses the critical changes for the health care industry to be highly-reliable. He also believes that such approach makes health care an industry where human errors causing patient harm is no longer common. |
