The article offers information on the characterization, expression and analysis of an intracellular α-amylase from the Halophilic Archaeon Haloarcula. Information on determination of draft genome sequence of Ha. japonica identification of a gene encoding an a-amylase, malA is presented. It further states that malA gene was expressed and cloned in Ha. japonica and was also was purified and characterized. |
