| Abstrakt: | The article discusses how some of the major advances in armour innovation originate from how to productionise technologies using more traditional materials. According to the author, the transition to aluminium armour that occurred with many in-service vehicles has been reversed and there has been a return to steel armour for vehicles being built in 2013 such as Nexter's VBCI. |
