The article discusses the relationship between basal body temperature and thyroid disease based on the clinical works and writings of Doctor Broda Otto Barnes. It states the current information on thyroid disease versus the summary model of Barnes which include axillary temperatures equal oral temperatures, thyroid as the prime regulator of basal body temperature, and the linear relationship of thyroid levels with basal body temperatures. |
