Abstrakt:	Information on the church music congress titled "Musik in Kirche und Gemeinde" held in Erlangen, Germany from October 25-28, 2012 is presented. The main focus of the congress was to improve the relationship between music and church. Other topics mentioned in the article include women in church music, the training of church musicians, and the role of music for Christianity.
