| Abstrakt: |
The article presents the results of a report on the ringing and migration of Woodcock birds in the Berezinski Reserve vicinities in Belarus from September 19 to October 25, 2012. It notes that the peak of migration was in the first pentad of October and suggests that the high number of juvenile birds confirm a good breeding success. It also mentions the factors that made catching of these birds successful including moonless nights, a lack of strong winds and normal rainfall. |
