Abstrakt: The article offers information on playhouses Puddle Wharf, Phoenix/Cockpit, and the Salisbury Court in London, England. The Puddle Wharf playhouse was built in Blackfriars on June 3, 1615, while the Salisbury Court playhouse was opened in 1629 with the King's Revels as tenants. The Phoenix/Cockpit was built on the remains of a cockfighting area. A list of plays placed in the playhouses are presented which includes "A Fair Quarrel," "The Poor Man's Comfort," and "The Costly Whore."
